Substitute Teacher (Primary/Secondary) À Temps Plein

The American School of Benguerir is looking for a qualified local candidate for the role of Primary/Secondary Substitute Teacher. The substitute teacher provides temporary classroom instruction and maintains a positive learning environment. This role involves following lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring that students continue to progress in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Deliver instruction in a clear and engaging manner to meet students’ needs.
• Maintain a productive and respectful classroom environment.
• Address and manage student behavior in line with school policies.
• Assist students with their learning activities and address any questions or concerns.
• Provide feedback to students and ensure they stay on task.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
• Native or native-like fluency in English
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
