The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>University degree in Management\/Finance\/Marketing, Public Relations, or in a closely related field (Master\u2019s Degree is preferred).<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years of experience in a professional field (finance, sales, community\/economic development, non-profit, project management, marketing, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in creating content, posting, and strategizing within digital marketing platforms including social media and web.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills in written and oral English language and interpersonally.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in MS Office\/Google Workplace, Adobe, Canva, and alumni database platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in customer relations to support AR\/AP\/Procurement &amp; Purchasing.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle multiple duties at the same time.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Skills in the operation of computers and job-related software programs.<\/li>\n<li>A strong commitment to continuous quality improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>POSITION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Institutional Advancement officer reports to the Enrollment Management Director. This position provides support for the Enrollment Management Office&#8217;s overall institutional advancement efforts, including fundraising, community and public relations, alumni relations, marketing, institutional research, planning, and continuous improvement efforts with regards to accreditation and strategic action plans.<\/p>\n<p>The candidate works closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Business Office to strengthen ASM\u2019s long-term financial sustainability, engage and connect with the School\u2019s community, promote ASM, and improve the School\u2019s reputation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Business Office Assistant (\u00bd)&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Business Office with regards to front-line and back-office functions focused on securing current, near-term, and long-term financial support and working to advance ASM\u2019s mission.<\/li>\n<li>Handle incoming calls and other communications, update the Business office&#8217;s paperwork, organize and manage common office areas, and assist with client reception.<\/li>\n<li>Support A\/R processes to increase collection rates, overall revenue, and timeliness, as well as improved satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the development of policies and procedures and recommend changes to effectively meet the goals and requirements of the Business Office.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with all purchasing needs of the school, obtaining and organizing quotes, and liaising with external vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining the billing system.<\/li>\n<li>Generating invoices and account statements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.<\/li>\n<li>Producing monthly financial and management reports.<\/li>\n<li>Assisting in general financial management and analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Institutional Advancement Officer&nbsp; (\u00bd)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Fundraising &amp; Development:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the development and execution of an annual fundraising plan, including identifying funding sources and cultivating relationships with donors.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with school leadership to identify and cultivate relationships with corporate sponsors and community partners to support school initiatives and programs<\/li>\n<li>Manage and maintain accurate records of all gifts and donations, including acknowledgment letters and other donor recognition efforts<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, analyze, and report on overall fundraising results versus goals.<\/li>\n<li>Identify unmet institutional needs\/opportunities both internally and externally and research, facilitate, and design viable solutions to meet those needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em> &nbsp;<\/em><em>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Alumni Relations:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and maintain the school&#8217;s alumni relations program, including planning alumni events and reunions, keeping alumni databases up to date, and communicating with alumni on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Communications &amp; Marketing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan that includes social media, email marketing, and other digital and print communication channels to promote the school and its activities to all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the development and production of promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, annual reports, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Routinely attend community events and actively promote program activities.<\/li>\n<li>Create programs and events (e.g. Career Connections, Alumni reunions, Annual Fund, etc.) to inspire engagement by ASM constituents.<\/li>\n<li>Tell ASM\u2019s story through various communication channels (newspapers, Open House events, radio announcements, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Connect &amp; engage with the local community through collaboration and strategic partnerships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Strategic Planning and Institutional Research:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the development and execution of high-level institutional advancement events that advance the awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the mission, values, accomplishments, and goals of ASM.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in establishing, monitoring, and managing goals for Institutional Advancement as related to the strategic plan.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct surveys, analyze data, and develop reports and recommendations for institutional leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Help establish and strengthen Institutional Advancement processes and operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Safeguarding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The American School of Marrakesh is committed to providing a world-class, safe, happy environment in which children and young people are able to thrive and learn.
