CAS is also accredited by NEASC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POSITION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Upper School IB French A Teacher<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking for the 2024-2025 school year (position starting in early August 2024):<\/p>\n<p>An experienced Upper School IB French A teacher<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY JOB TASKS\/DUTIES\/RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach IB French A: Language and Literature courses.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and deliver a curriculum that aligns with the IB standards and promotes critical thinking and analysis of French literature and language.<\/li>\n<li>Design assessments that accurately measure student understanding and proficiency in French A.<\/li>\n<li>Provide meaningful feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in IB training and professional development sessions to stay current with IB pedagogy and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the school\u2019s mission and participate in school-wide events and activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High proficiency in French, with excellent command of both written and spoken French.<\/li>\n<li>French Teaching Certification.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching IB French A or equivalent high school French literature and language courses.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the IB French A curriculum and assessment criteria.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the linguistic landscape of Morocco is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in English both written and oral (at least B1 level of the CEFR).<\/li>\n<li>Open-mindedness, adaptability, and cultural agility.<\/li>\n<li>Availability and excellent team-working skills.<\/li>\n<li>\u2060Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DESIRED SKILLS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiative and innovation in teaching methods.<\/li>\n<li>Experience teaching French in an international context is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Casablanca American School (CAS) offers a challenging and rigorous program of studies from kindergarten through high school, culminating in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) since 1986.
