IB world school since 1986.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Job Goal:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nTo assist teachers in maintaining appropriate classroom procedures, activities and environment<br \/>\nin order that students may learn effectively in a safe environment.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>KEY JOB TASKS\/DUTIES\/RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Professional Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide translation in parent meetings as needed<\/li>\n<li>Attend required events, meetings and in-house trainings (incl Committees, school events, division, team\/teacher CPT, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Establishes and maintains productive relationships with colleagues<\/li>\n<li>Respects the confidentiality of records and information regarding students, parents, and faculty and staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instruction<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead invitational groups est. by teacher, focused on targeted skills<\/li>\n<li>1:1 student assistance as needed<\/li>\n<li>Substitute in absence of teacher<\/li>\n<li>Assist teacher with formative assessment\/student understanding<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to positive classroom culture incl. activities and environment (doors, board, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Assist students with self management (agendas, folders, notebooks, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Assist in lesson and classroom preparation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Student Supervision<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in transitioning students to\/from classes, dismissal, lunch\/recess, nurse<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Specialist classes as needed<\/li>\n<li>Assist with PE (N-G2)<\/li>\n<li>Arrival\/dismissal, lunch, recess duties as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Enforce classroom expectations, procedures, routines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Resource Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with photocopying<\/li>\n<li>Assist with classroom inventory<\/li>\n<li>Assist with classroom organization<\/li>\n<li>Maintain classroom library and resources<\/li>\n<li>Chromebook care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Local University degree or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Written and spoken English proficiency required; computer skills preferred<\/li>\n<li>Exceptions to these qualifications can be made by the Lower School Principal in consultation\/agreement with the Director<\/li>\n<li>Pass extensive background checks and qualifying child safety screening<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COMPANY: Casablanca American School, founded in 1973, CAS is a K-12 International American US State Department assisted School.
