Middle School Physical Education Teacher Full Time

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PE (Physical Education) teacher to join our dynamic team. As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive physical education programs to middle school students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum guidelines, focusing on the specific needs of middle school students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, ensuring students develop fundamental movement skills, coordination, and physical fitness.
• Promote a healthy and active lifestyle, educating students about the importance of exercise, nutrition, and overall well-being.
• Assess students’ progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and supporting individual development.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, including intra and inter-school competitions, as well as field trips.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PE concepts and skills into other subject areas, fostering cross-curricular connections.
• Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about students’ progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field. A teaching certification or qualification is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience as a PE Teacher, preferably in a middle school setting.
• Excellent knowledge of different sports, physical activities, and fitness training methods suitable for middle school students.
• Familiarity with the French educational system and/or international curriculum frameworks is a real plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine passion for promoting physical fitness and well-being among young learners.
