Science and Physics Teacher Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, aligned with the secondary school British curriculum.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to facilitate effective learning experiences for students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and evaluate their progress through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Identify and cater to the individual learning needs of students, including those with diverse abilities or special educational needs.
• Encourage hands-on experiments, practical demonstrations, and scientific inquiry to enhance students’ understanding of concepts and principles.
• Promote scientific literacy, curiosity, and a passion for learning in Physics and Biology.
• Support students in developing scientific skills, such as observation, data analysis, problem-solving, and critical evaluation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review curriculum materials, assessment methods, and instructional strategies.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Math, Physics, Biology, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or qualification (such as a teaching license or PGCE) is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of the subject matter, including key concepts, theories, and practical applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage resources, and assess student work.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring young minds, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
