Position Opening: Part-Time High School Science Teacher
Location: The American School of Marrakesh
Start Date: September 2025

The American School of Marrakesh is seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time High School Science Teacher to teach the following courses for the 2025–2026 academic year:

• IB Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS)
• High School General Science

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with course objectives and standards
• Assess and support student progress through formative and summative evaluations
• Collaborate with the Science Department and wider faculty
• Participate in school meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development as required for part-time staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field
• Professional fluency in English is required
• Teaching credential or certification
• Experience teaching IB Environmental Systems & Societies is strongly preferred
• Experience with high school science instruction in an international or inquiry-based context is an asset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
